The legendary band Fat Freddy's Drop will return to the stage in 2026 to celebrate the 21st anniversary of their iconic album Based On A True Story, with a concert in Lisbon, at Sagres Campo Pequeno, on September 23. The 51-date world tour marks their return after the loss of Chris 'MU' Faiumu, paying homage to his legacy. Released in 2005, the album became a landmark, charting 111 weeks in the New Zealand Top 40 and winning several awards. Fusing soul, dub, reggae and electronica, the band promises to celebrate this history with the energy and passion that have always defined them.
