The biggest event dedicated to fado in Madeira returns to Funchal with a program that celebrates tradition and, at the same time, attracts new audiences.

The big novelty in this edition will be the debut of fado for children, an innovative proposal designed to bring young people closer to this musical genre that is so representative of Portuguese identity. The Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias will host a series of concerts highlighting different voices and styles, in an atmosphere of cultural sharing. The initiative is promoted by Funchal City Council, in partnership with the Madeira Fado Association, reinforcing artistic appreciation.
