One of the biggest names in contemporary classical music returns to Portugal on the European tour of his new album "Ranges of Robustness".

Known for his minimalist and deeply emotional style, the pianist, singer and composer has a unique career that includes collaborations with theater, cinema and iconic plays.

In these concerts, Mertens presents new compositions on the piano alongside his classics, accompanied by four experienced musicians from his wind ensemble, which includes alto/soprano saxophone, trumpet, cornet, horn and trombone. An opportunity to experience live moments of pure contemplation from one of today's most influential composers.
