With the arrival of a new year, classical music once again marks the program of the Teatro de Vila Real, which celebrates the passing of time with timeless works in various formats. On December 13, the opera Gli Eroi Spartani (1788), by António Leal Moreira, is presented in a modern premiere by the Mateus Baroque Orchestra. At the end of the month, the Banda Sinfónica Transmontana performs Metamorfoses, with pieces inspired by Paganini, Bach and Tchaikovsky. The new year opens with Swan Lake, followed by the debut of pianist Pedro Teixeira and a new show by the Oniros Ensemble. There's also Vocalini for the youngest and a concert by the Orquestra do Norte.
