For more than twenty years, the Editors' music has been immediately recognizable by Tom Smith's solemn, unmistakable voice. Even when the band appeared associated with the post-punk movement of the early 2000s, alongside Interpol or Maxïmo Park, Smith's interpretation always made the group stand out, marking out songs such as Munich or The Racing Rats. Now, the singer is presenting his first solo album, There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn't There In The Light, which he describes as a set of "sad songs" that are difficult to label. Tom Smith will present this new repertoire on April 22 at the Maria Matos Theater in Lisbon.
