Events

The Tasquinhas Fair, declared an event of national tourism interest in 2006, is the biggest event in the municipality, attracting thousands of visitors over several days.

The entire gastronomic offer is provided by the associative movement (and not by catering professionals), which guarantees visitors a different experience, in a unique ethnographic environment, expressing the gastronomic flavor of the municipality of Rio Maior. It has thus established itself as a traditional and social event that supports local associations and collectives, enabling them to raise funds for the various activities they carry out throughout the year. There are also exhibitors from the areas of business, handicrafts, confectionery and liqueurs.
