Inspired by the new album "Mulheres de Abril" (Women of April), which was born as a natural development of the acclaimed album "Abril" (2007), this work sheds light on the women José Afonso sang about, their intimate narratives and the progressive vision the composer revealed about the role of women in society.

The choice of songs that make up the new work reflects Cristina's deep artistic connection with the composer's legacy. The album brings together eight emblematic compositions: "Endechas a Bárbara Escrava", "De Não Saber o Que Me Espera", "Canção do Desterro", "Teresa Torga", "Canção da Paciência", "Mulher da Erva", "Verdade e Mentira" and "Verdes São os Campos".
