Golegã is hosting its second largest annual fair, ExpoÉgua. With an extensive program that includes gastronomy, sport and lots of music, the equestrian world is the star of the show, with various moments dedicated to horses: from competitions to exhibitions.

The St. Martin's Pilgrimage, which is nearly two decades old, is one of the highlights of the event and includes the presence of several dozen people who join the traditional pilgrimage on horseback along the municipality's paths, on a tour of its historical and religious heritage.
