This museum is housed in the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral and displays various religious treasures, the most remarkable are the cross of St. Lenho, in gilded silver lined with precious stones and the 12th century ivory triptych with scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of Paradise.
Other interesting exhibits include: jewellery (16th -18th century), sculpture (14th - 18th century), religious furniture (16th and 18th centuries) and vestments from the 16th -18th centuries (one of the most impressive collections of this kind in Portugal).
