Activities

Created in 2019, OUTCROP emerges with the objective of gathering leisure and outdoor activities with knowledge and science. Among predefined thematic tours, customized tours and occasional events, we offer several options to discover a different Portugal in a different way.

OUTCROP tours fall into 3 main areas: Geotourism, Nature Tourism and Scientific Tourism. Geosciences appear as a link to understand our natural and historical-cultural heritage.

By car or on foot, all of our routes are based on the principle that geology is not just for geologists. In this way, we try to adapt to the most diverse types of audiences: small groups of travelers, families, students and companies.

All of our activities are characterized by a deep respect for the preservation of geodiversity and biodiversity, at the same time that we try to draw attention to the way we use our natural resources.

Aveiro is our base and, Center of Portugal, our focus. Its mountains, its coast, rivers, cities and typical villages, are the field where we move.

Slowly, immerse yourself in our landscapes and be amazed at how geology is present in our lives and in everything we observe.
