The Orquestra do Algarve offers a program that is both classic and original, revisiting the imagery of Hans Christian Andersen. Text and music will characterize this concert, which escapes musical stereotypes and gives three 20th century works their national premiere. It's the perfect concert to bring the family together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas through music, imagination and curiosity. We can listen to Christmas Night by Max Reger (1873-1916); Children's Christmas Night by Niels Gade (1817-1890); and In Terra Pax, Christmas Scene by Gerald Finzi (1901-1956).
