The exhibition "Dança não dança – Archaeologies of the new dance in Portugal" is the result of a collective research, showing different archival materials and dance records (audiovisual documents, photographs, posters, publications, ephemera, scores, among others).

The exhibition proposes to go through the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries with the body, following different dance manifestations that reflect and problematize their time and mapping the histories of dance that remain absent from the narratives of art history and cultural history in the country. This is the seventh edition of the project "Para uma Timeline a Haver – Genealogies of Dance as an Artistic Practice in Portugal", which since 2016 has been investigating the New Portuguese Dance.
