Rui Fernandes travels through Portugal to present his mastery on the "viola amarantina" (guitar), a traditional instrument of five sets of double strings, originally from the region of Amarante. Together with three jazz musicians, Pedro Neves (piano), Miguel Ângelo (double bass) and Ricardo Coelho (percussion) the quartet created a unique sound with several influences, where the "viola amarantina" is the protagonist.

The contact with this instrument came in 2018 and, since then, Fernandes has been creating original compositions with the purpose of helping to spread this instrument around the world. To do so, he explored timbres, techniques, chords and arpeggios, building, in each song, a huge and surprising variety of musical moments.
