Events

The Sponge Cake Festival and Traditional Sweets Exhibition has its origins in the representativeness of Margaride's sponge cake in the history of the municipality of Felgueiras. This event takes place every year in Felgueiras, on the weekend of Palm Sunday.

Every year, producers of sponge cake and traditional local and regional sweets take part in this event, which also features a varied cultural program. In 2019, the festival took on an international dimension for the first time, with exhibitors from other countries.
