Matosinhos is once again hosting the "Matosinhos em Jazz" jazz festival, which runs throughout the month of July in a lovely open-air space, the bandstand in Basílio Teles Park. Every year it presents an excellent line-up, with free admission, making it one of the best jazz festivals in the country.

Mansur Brown is one of the must-see shows of the 2025 edition. In addition to the musical proposal, and at the invitation of the festival, five Portuguese visual artists are reinterpreting iconic covers of world jazz. The result of this challenge will be on display throughout July in Parque Basílio Teles.
