Between April 11 and 13, 2025, there will be another major event dedicated to a traditional Easter delicacy: the Valpaços Folar Fair, which was created to preserve this element of Portuguese gastronomy.

Currently, the event attracts thousands of people who enjoy tasting various delicacies to the sound of traditional music. Almost a hundred exhibitors showcase the best of the county's gastronomy. From olive oil to wine, including "bolo podre", honey, jams, dried fruit, confectionery and a variety of breads and, of course, the traditional "Folar de Valpaços IGP", it's all present during the event that has given life to the fame of "Valpaços – Capital of Folar".
