The Smoked Meat Fair / São Brás Fair, in the village of São João da Corveira, in the municipality of Valpaços, will be held this year between January 31st and February 1st.

This is one of the oldest smoked meat fairs in Portugal and has more than 50 exhibitors, 40 of them smokers, most of them from the municipality of Valpaços. In this exhibition, the products presented are genuine, made according to the wisdom of the local people and prepared by the skillful hands of women who over time have learned the art, passed down from mothers to daughters.
