2019 Michelin Stars in Portugal

On the 10th anniversary of the Michelin Gala, Portugal welcomed the big international gastronomy festival, hosting the Michelin star award ceremony at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, in Lisbon. 

On November 21, the restaurants distinguished by the Michelin Guides for their excellence of cuisine and service were revealed. This renowned distinction in the sector is also a way of exalting Portuguese gastronomy and acknowledging the talent and creative genius of the chefs who work with local products to present traditional recipes in an innovative and many times surprising form. 

The 2019 Michelin Guide will list 26 Portuguese restaurants, which display a total of 32 Michelin stars (6 ** and 20*).
