Thousands of people gather every year in Portugal's oldest town - Ponte de Lima - to watch the centuries-old "Vaca das Cordas". According to tradition, the animal (which is usually a bull and not a cow, despite the festival's name) weighing more than 450 kilos is led out onto the street by around ten and a half people and is attached by two ropes.

In addition to this moment, the program also includes bullfighting varieties, entertainment, concerts and gastronomic events to encourage the consumption of meat from indigenous breeds, such as the Minho breed, which has already obtained certification.
